The people that do this kind of work are real good soles they do not get enough thought about , like nurses they do such good work but don't get played enough , because where would we be with out them ...... regards Judith Rockliff

Hi Sweetness, I hope you’re well.
I cared for my mother for several years before it went beyond my ability and skill set, so yes, I understand and agree, nurses are highly skilled and are caring for our loved ones. I get what you’re saying — they are undervalued. But ‘not paid enough’ is one of those phrases that sounds clear until you try to define it. No one thinks they’re paid enough, not even the wealthy. ‘Enough’ is vague by nature: enough to survive, enough to travel, enough to raise a family, enough to feel secure, or enough to live a lavish lifestyle… every time you reach one level, another one appears. That’s why the idea of ‘enough’ keeps stretching. It’s a moving target, not a fixed amount. Sadly, enough is never enough.
As I said, I do take your point, nurses are great people, not only do they treat and monitor the wellbeing of our loved ones, they do so while maintaining a cheerful disposition, because positiveness is also an important part of recovery. :)
