Would a victory in the one-day series and Twenty20 World Cup redress the balance between the Australia and England cricket teams or do the English have bragging rights regardless of any other results for the next 2 years until the next Ashes series?

yes, English team is better in tests and ashes is about test matches not the odi's or t20's.so rights are with english team at the moment and it should be.

Yes i think so, we are in a building phase for Australian cricket and I think this would go along way to help us getting abck to number #1!
Also, England have played horrendous cricket these past 6 months so I personally am really looking forward to it :)

i think the english will have the upper hand to bragging rights, unless they could knock the poms out of the world cup.

Hiya Barnesy,

Sorry, I'm with the previous reply.

Also did you happen to see the Opening Ceremony?

Probably be the best spectacle for the next 2 weeks!

Watched the warm up game against india, it was laughable, crumbled again!
coasting they were, ya just knew it, a wicket and their gone!
Then yeah what was it, 8 for under 80! lol

Go you poms!

Cheers,

Lise :)
