What is your hair care routine? And how does it help your hair?

Extremely minimal.
I wash hair once a week, using medicated scalp shampoo and the conditioner I use the little ones that come in a hair dye box (that conditioner is amazing! All other store bought conditioners tend to give me dandruff) I don't brush my hair as have curly hair - I run fingers through it when washing.
And then I leave to naturally dry and that's it!
I cut and dye hair myself.
I also work in a physical job so hair gets tied up in a but at the top of my head and doesn't tend to leave this position unless there is an event maybe once a year hahahaha 😅

Paraben free, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, artsy oil, hair spray. I just wash and blow dry and apply a little oil.

Going to the hairdresser or getting any beauty treatment is getting a tad more expensive these days.
I found my local TAFE does hair and beauty treatments for very reasonable affordable prices with a style-cut, wash, condition and blow dry and style for $10.
The appointments are performed by the students under supervision, so it may take a tad longer, but if you’ve got the time you will never get a better hair cut or more dedicated attention.
Also some salons and beauty schools have 'training nights' and will offer something similar.
. . . so do yourself a favour and get on down to your TAFE as this is getting more popular so spots can be hard to snag.

My routine is as follows:

Brush Daily to help distribute the natural oils and keep the hair looking fresh.
Wash as little times per week as possible, using natural shampoo and conditioner (Chemicals are not good for your hair and over washing can cause your hair to fall out). People who wash their hair all the time are washing the natural oils and essential minerals that your hair naturally generates to keep it looking healthy. If you feel you need to wash it, I just tend to rinse it under water and only use natural shampoo/conditioner once or twice a week. I hear, two in ones are bad and you should use a separate shampoo and conditioner to get the optimal result. This is because two in ones the shampoo counteracts the conditioner and visa versa making them both not be able to do their desired job as well as if they were stand alone.

Basically, brush it with a good brush daily and let your natural oils and minerals do their thing and you can't go wrong.

Overall, if you maintain your natural oils/minerals in your hair, get a good brush, brush daily, wash minimal times with natural (Not chemical ridden ones) stand alone shampoo and conditioner and rinse your hair with water if you feel you need to wash it instead of grabbing for shampoo/conditioner, your hair will be healthier than it's even been.

I use an expensive moisturising shampoo and conditioner, plus a leave in cream treatment after towel drying. I do this approximately twice a week and it keeps my hair moisturised, less frizzy and way less knots.
If I use supermarket bought shampoo and conditioner, my hair condition drops significantly.

Wash and condition hair when it’s getting a bit grubby (every 3 days) and put semi permanent rinse on roots every three weeks.

Do you still lose hair using this oil or does it just reduce hair lose heavily?

I shampoo and condition my hair twice a week, brush it daily to distribute oils from the scalp to the ends and put it up. I have my hair cut every 2 months and I never brush my hair damp as I don't want split ends.

Yes, not putting a brush through your hair when it is wet stops split ends as well as stops breakage as your hair is more delicate when wet and the scalp oils not distributed over it.

Thanks for the heads up 😁

Does that help to avoid split ends ???

I put oils in my hair then, exfoliate it, put shampoo in it, then a mask for 30 mins, then conditioner, then I put treatment spray and leave it to dry. This makes my hair healthier and gives in more volume
