What flowers are people growing?
And do you have any special tips for growing them?

My jonquils, bluebells and magnolia have just finished. I have a succulent ground cover in full bloom, evolvulus, salvia, limonium, cracker plant, kangaroo paw, Dietes iridiodes and lavender to name a few. My colour scheme is white, red, blue and green. Create a 3 level planting of low, mid size and then larger plants at the back. Don't plant too close together as the plants will dry out quicker and compete for nutrients and always know the overall height and width a plant will reach. By creating the layers a humid environment is created to keep all plants alive. A good quality soil to start with and mulch help. I also apply liquid fertiliser to flowering plants every few weeks as well as them receiving twice a week watering from our bore. I'd suggest natives and hardy plants so they survive a harsher climate.
