I love collecting films, comic books, die-cast vehicles, and figures. What are you passionate about collecting?

Beer Coasters. When i was still at school and magazines were a thing i put a couple of ads in new idea and Womens weekly i think. At that point in time Qld was propping up NSW as everyone went to Twin Towns to play the pokies. Anyhow all these elderly ladies and a few fair dinkum collectors got in touch. The ladies would just say i don't collect them them but just pick a few up from the club. Then would mention they might collect tea spoons or tea towels or some thing . Not really having an income it became expensive to send a little token of appreciation back. . The rule with the real collectors was if they sent you a heap and you didn't have a certain coaster it was deemed a swap and you had to try and find that many that they might not have back. if XXXX mainly being Qld didn't have a few new ones i pretty much had nothing to send back so had to stop . These days i can get a few local ones from the pubs due to new advertising avenues opened up by the pokies.. i will donate my local collection to the historical society eventually as it is history , from 3 phone numbers to 6 , to the area code to todays mobile numbers. Showcases Businesses that were a two month wonder in town and those that have last for decades.

Yarn that I swear I will use for knitting or crocheting eventually... and things with the pokemon Flareon - plush toys, figurines, someone gave me a little pendant once, that kind of thing. It's my favourite :)

What type of 19th century books do you collect? l have several that were my mothers and l wish to rehome, l would hate to throw them out as once they are gone that beautiful style of writing goes forever.
