I am feeling maudlin today as I remember those whose lives were taken in a senseless attack. I especially remember the “falling man” as he gracefully glided to his death, upside down, as he descended to the ground. He was a chef who was working on the top floor. He never made it home that night. So meet me at midnight baby, inside the sad cafe. Let’s have a cuppa for all those who never made it home that day. Can someone from Cafe Study please cheer me up with an uplifting reply?

Ps. I see that Cafe Study sponsors “Reach Out” and I hope that by reaching out today I can touch your hearts. Sometimes we need to connect on a sad level to carry on. I hope I succeed this time.

Thank you for bringing this important anniversary to our thoughts today. We are remembering all the lives lost on this tragic day. We have made an extra donation to Reach Out in remembrance, and hope this helps to cheer you up too.
Best wishes from the Cafestudy team.

Help Caféstudy members by responding to their questions, or ask your own in Café Chat, and you will get the chance of earning extra rewards. Caféstudy will match these and donate equally to our two chosen Australian charities.
