I am a keen collector of other peoples containers to cash in at return & earn and I don't have many of my own.
But I am wondering why this good idea does not extend to things like wine bottles and milk container of which there are many.
Does anyone know why this is the case?
It seems to be a no brainer to collect all plastic container with this method as I have seen many people who probably may not bother to recycle things if it were not for the cash money they can earn.
I am a keen recycler and reuser of things and have done this all my life and the money is a bonus, but the way we humans are living we are wrecking our own nest - climate change and ruination of our environment are threatening everything and our home the earth.
What do you think? and do you think this could change somehow?

Hi, I love this recycling scheme! I use to just recycle all cans/bottles in the recycling bin until my state got this and I know can make some money from it as well as cleaning up litter in the street.

My state doesn't allow large juice bottles (even if it says 10c return). It's annoying, I wish I know the answer to your question too!

Thanks for your comment. It us truly frustrating when tha machine won't take the bottle that us clearly marked 10c. What I do us turn it around the other way and retry.
As for payment for the return andcearn containers.
I have so far saved up and bought 2 large shade sails worth around $360 each and close to being able to buy another one.
I keep a record of it and it encourages me to keep picking them up.
I hear many oeopke, say they are struggling with paying bills but thus us a really good way to earn money towards groceries ir bills.
Free money on the ground. All you have to do is pick it up and cash it in.
