I often seem to prefer cappuccinos that others say are bad or average. When others say 'a good coffee', what do they mean?

A good coffee, in my opinion, is one that you enjoy drinking. Everyone has different taste buds and overtime as you get older your taste buds alter and depending on how you're feeling on that day your taste buds can also alter. Therefore, some days you may like a coffee and others you may not. But on a whole, Mr anon may like a cappuccino from McDonald's and say it's the best whilst you hate it. Thus, when it comes to a good or bad coffee, it comes down to personal preference and what you enjoy drinking.
I do understand you like cappuccinos and some are made better than others but that really would just come down to the barista, how they are made and your tastebuds on the day. As with the example above, you might one day think McDonalds coffees are the best and the next hate them. That could be because of your taste buds on that day or a different barista made it etc.
