As a regular traveller I was lucky enough to cruise PNG one week before Australia locked down and cancelled all non essential travel.
Still, I needed to get away by mid year 2020 as my inner traveller became restless. We own a caravan and usually take 3-4 short breaks during any year along with a couple 10-14 day holidays to somewhere new.
Over the past 18 months, we've seen a lot of South Australia. Found many hidden gems and look forward to exploring more of our own state.
One day we will start exploring the world again but happy to be able to still travel and enjoy holidays.
I know a few people who refuse to book a holiday until they can travel freely again, but when will that be?
Who else is exploring where they live?
What hidden gem have you discovered that you didn't know about before Covid-19?
