Do you think creams containing hyaluronic acid in the formulas work more on the skin?

I’m not a dermatologist so take my thoughts with an incredibly large grain of salt. But the question does start with ‘Do you think…’ so, rightly or wrongly, this is what I think.
I have no idea what hyaluronic acid is but I presume it’s intended to reduce the signs of aging. If you want to find out if anything works…just search the Net for clinical studies on the subject matter. Outside of that, I think doing the following helps:
• Get a good amount of sleep every day
• Drink lots of water
• Exercise regularly
• Outside of getting your daily dose of vitamin D, stay out of the sun. If you can’t, then slip, slop and slap.
• If you can, try not to sleep on your face LOL. They reckon it puts more creases on our face LMAO
• I think taking a collagen supplement has been found to help restore what your body stops producing as we age. But you might want to check that …i.e. dosage.
And if you’re really unsure of the efficacy of hyaluronic acid in creams…give it a go and see if you, or friends and rels notice a change. If they do, then, happy days. If they don’t, save your money.
Anyway, that’s about the extent of what I think.
Have a great day. 😊

I also prefer the ordinary's hyaluronic acid. I apply it before my moisturiser, and it helps my sensitive, seb derm prone skin. It has definitely been a game changer for me. I also like the mandelic + HA acid by the ordinary as it it a gentle exfoliant.

A few years ago I wanted to know where hyaluronic acid came from and I was completely horrified when I found out ... luckily I found a vegetarian / vegan version in The Ordinary skin care range.

I believe so as hyaluronic acid helps to really lock moisture in the skin and maintain hydration.

I haven’t tries creams containing hyaluronic acid yet, but hyaluronic acid is known for its ability to heal wounds and the treatment of dry skin.

From my personal experience, I've really seen a difference using hyaluronic acid and in general have loved using oils more on my skin over wearing makeup!
