If you are at home and getting upset by all the news and being isolated try this. Sit on the floor or a chair so you are comfortable. Put your hands on your lap palms facing upwards. Listen to the sounds or silence around you. Stay with this for a minute or two. Then I want you to connect to a calming, nurturing energy that you and I have always had but never use. Put your right hand on your left side of your heart and ask yourself, [in silence] “Am I the Spirit?” Wait a few seconds and just stay with that. Then move your right hand to the top of your rib cage [left side] and ask yourself, “Am I my own master?” Am I in charge of myself in other words. Stay with this for a few seconds, a minute.

The next part is important. Move your right hand down to the lower tummy area, top of your leg on the left side again and say in your heart - “Please give me pure knowledge”. You need to give this energy permission she won’t help you unless you allow her to enlighten you. Please give me the pure knowledge. Again wait a few seconds, minute or two. If you want it will work but if you don’t she will respect you and stay still. If you give her permission she will gently, slowly start to rise up in your central nervous system and start to bring into balance your being. It’s generally not a big effect. Most people feel relaxed and at peace. You just have to allow for this to happen.

Then raise your right hand back to the top of the rib cage on the left side and confirm, “I am my own master.” Again wait a few minuets and then put your hand on your heart, [left hand side] and confirm “I am the Spirit”. I am not this body this mind. These things help me but they are not who I am. “I am the Spirit” After a minute or so move your right hand to your neck on the left side, turn your head to the right. Say in your heart, “I am not guilty. I am not guilty at all.” This is to let go of all the old negative messages you repeat in your head to punish yourself for past misdeeds. You need to let go of them. Say this in your head as many times as you feel necessary and forgive yourself.

Now bring your right hand on to your forehead press your temple and say as many times as you feel necessary, “I forgive everyone. I forgive myself”. This is important. If you hold on to anger of yourself or others you will end up being bitter, sour and angry so let it go. Sometimes one of the hardest things is to forgive ourselves. Stay with this for a minute or so.

Now bring your right hand to the top of your head and press the area where the fontanel bone is. Rotate your hand clockwise seven times pressing your scalp so it moves under the pressure and ask, “Please give me my self realisation,or please give me the pure knowledge.

Put your hands in your lap, palms upward and stay still for a minute or two. Keep your attention on the top of your head and stay in the here and now, the present moment.
Finally bring your right hand over the top of your head. Don’t touch your head. Your hand should be a few inches above your fontanel bone area. Feel if there is a cool or a hot breeze coming from the top of your head. It will be a subtle sensation. If it is hot then you need to forgive. Just say I forgive from your heart.
Just stay with this and allow your inner healer to bring you calm and peace.
If you want to know what this is about look up “thoughtless awareness” Sahaja Yoga on the web.
Be kind to yourself and others.

I really believe that yoga has healing benefits, I also believe that people must practice regularly to receive the relaxation release.
