For me, I am currently using the facial soap from Clinique and I think it is a good product. The facial cleanser from Whoo is also pretty good.
For tone, SukinI will definitely recommend the Jurlique Rosewater Mist(and I grab it when it was on discount during boxing day).
For someone who has a lower budget, I will recommend Avene or La Roche Posay, especially for the sensitive skin.
For moisturiser. I will recommend the rosehip day cream fro Sukin and the Day Care Lotion from Jurlique.
By the way, I am combination-oily skin.
Melmoo
for a face wash i like oil of olay facial cleanser

As a beauty therapist I highly recommend Dermalogica products they have skin care products for everyone! My favourite is the age smart range with the multi vitamin mask, helps fight free radicals that breaks down the collagen in the skin.
Its definitely worth taking a look!

I'm using a product similar to Proactive called Skin Clarity. It really helps with oily skin and reduces breakouts from the first use! It has a foam cleanser, a gel/toner, a spot gel for specific trouble areas, and a repair cream. You can purchase a starter pack and it lasts for roughly a month. It is worth a try!

As a personal decision from what I've studied proactive and Skin clarity strip the layers of the skin which eventually ages you, as we only have so many cells so its best to rejuvenate the cells not strip them

I love the Biotherm toner, it's affordable & takes all excess dirt off, I rub it down my face neck, chest & back of neck. I used to use Thalgo products but expensive & hard to come by, so the nutrogena orange colour foaming face wash really cleans my skin.

I really like the Greek Brand: Korres (White Tea Facial Cleanser)
rishmi
jouveez- grape is an other one to moisturize and keep toned of ur skin
rishmi
if u r particularly concerned about pH of skin, go with Johnson's pH 5.5, it really moisturizing( 100% soap free) helps keep moisture of the skin, does not dry off the skin

It treated my daughters face impregnated with lots of pimples. After using it, she now have lovely smooth skin

I like Mario Badescu ( Enzyme cleansing gel or Seaweed cleanser) - availablwe online.
Other great brands: Lush (Angels on Bare Skin - which is an exfoliator/cleanser). Putetopia and In Essence are other good brands.

I have been using neutrigena bar soap for a while, it's very cheap and does the cleaning job well! Face does not feel dry afterwards at all, pores all cleared.

Mary Kay only for me. Timewise range. Affordable and they are fantastic products, Work as promised too which is good to know. (Yes, I am a consultant but these days buying basically for myself so I am not trying to pitch to anyone.)

I just recently bought this soap "L'elan Vital PhytoBar" and it's quite good. I has lots of ingredients that are good to moisturise your skin. It's not like a normal soap. This 30g, in fact, can last to 3 months.

Try using ordinary bath soap for good results. It works and a lot less expensive.

Natio is fantastic for a toner and moisturiser. The toner is alcohol free so not harsh on skin. Sukin has a great facial scrub which can be used once daily. Cetaphil facial soap is also great for a daily cleanser/face wash.

hi i use deep sea products from the dead sea in Israel, quite expensive inittally, but last for a year so over all, not expensive at all. There is Premier and Seacret and Deep sea cosmetics all from same place and excellent. I have very sensitive skin prone to lots of problems as do some of my family, works for all of us. hope that helps.
Hans
I find Neutrogena to be good for skin care and they're not too expensive.

I believe to an extend that avon products are awesome to use, but have unfortunely moved on to using nivea product. It does wonder and I do suggest to most that what ever you do no matter what product you use. Do not stop using them as you will find that youll outbreak and that is where tthings will go wrong from there

Yes! Avon blackhead clearing products are the best.

I have been using the Neutrogena Wave for the last few years and it works wonders on my skin. As a toner I tend to just use Garnier clean sensitive and for moisturiser I use sorbolene for myface and dove for my body.
Jen
I have been using the Dior hydra Life range for a few years now and it's great.
It leaves my skin looking and feeling fantstic.

Hello, I personally dislike Dove, although i kinow lots of people who love it. A favourite of mine is Nivea Visage Vital, nourishing face wash cream, specifically for mature skin, suits me and is reasonably priced at the supermarket. I have fine, sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use on it. A matter of trial and error. Good luck....
Miss Prim
Rosy, I agree that Nivea Visage Vital is good for your skin but unfortunately I have trouble buying it sometimes due to it being out of stock. So, it must be popular! So I use Dove 2 in1 when I cannot buy it and it feels similar on my skin.
Nita
I like Trilogy too they're quite good and I like that they're not as nasty as other brands. Sukin is also a goodie and affordable. Some other face cleansers I love are;
Aum Brightening Milk
Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing Oil
Mukti cleanser, toners.
Lily Loves Pearl cleanser & toner
Pure And Green
Derma e
POD Puraceuticals
Benefit Facial Cleanser and toner
If money is no object, you can't go past SK-11 cleanser, toner and moisturisers.
MellissaD
I'm loving the Aveeno Positively Radiant range at the moment!

.I wash my face, but the only thing I ever use is Dove soap. It seems to be the only soap that my poor dry skin seems to like. I used to use toner, but have decided that it's a lost cause, so no longer do. It's an odd thing, but I have over the years used many different moisturisers, and found that th el cheapo I buy from the supermarket is as good as any other. I knew a kind lady who worked in a chemist, and she told me this. It works quite well for me.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is of any help, but the
first thing we do once awake, is wash our face with
cold water. Later I personally use Dove soap to
rewash my face with hot water. It seems to work for
my needs.
rishmi
dove soap , I think leaves ur skin dry
Bstarzzz
Used to use dive but as if lately been using goats milk soap... Am finding its much much better and leaves my skin more cleaned and moisturized... Can get from pharmacys but have newly brought one from Coles supermarket and works just as well... Both as inexpencise as eachother so not going to break the bank to give it a switch and try...

I am not sure if the experts even know when it ends, I doubt that it does because once we our bodies stop producing the homones needed to keep our us healthy & strong we then have to look for alternatives which may not be as well absorbed as when we naturally produced them. The female body is very complex & go through changes our entire life & menopause starts & finishes differently for each & every one one of us. I have had peri-menopausal symptoms for many years & I am only 51 so I am really not looking forward to the next stage. Atm I use the contraceptive pill (not supposed to use it due to blood pressure) to help combat the symptoms & it saves me having to use HRT but I am sure sometime soon I may have to switch over to something more effective. I was told that Soy products help to reduce menopausal symptoms, the Chinese use a lot of soy & the doctor said that they do not suffer menopause symptoms .I can't validate that info & personally will not be using soy products but it was worth sharing.
Got to love being female lol.

I have been using Dove moisturising soap since it hit on the shelves and not looked back. I use it morning and night but only with warm water. I am in my early 50s and I can only speak highly of what I have achieved with it over the years.
Yes, menopause is a pain ninna. When does it end?
ninna
I am a great believer in soap & water due to allergies to many commercial skin cleansers & moisturisers. I personally use Loreal Cleansing milk once a week or more often if I wear makeup which is rare. My 16 yr old son has had terrible acne for some years & we have tried many different skin treaments with no luck, then tried 2 different anti biotics with a little success. We stopped all the treatments & now use Dove beauty bar for bathing & he washes his face with it with great results. His acne is now manageable & the scarring has settled down which was my main concern that I did not want him to go through life with acne scars on his face which is a real confidence killer.
I now use Dove soap for daily showering & wash my face with it then moisturise with Nivea Q10 Plus , the only time I have issues now is when menopause punishes me with a small amount of acne on my chin. I never suffered from pimples or skin blemishes before in my life till after I had children.

My whole family use a product called Bio-rejuv. It is made with Colostrum and Moor essence. It iis suitable for any skin type and will help relieve a multitude of problems like eczema, which is what one of my girls suffers from. The products are all natural and last a while. If you want to know more ask me.
rishmi
is it costly, does it suit any skin type
