In my area it seems to be pretty much the same. We had high rates of B&E and car theft before the pandemic, and they've stayed just as high throughout and now

Youth crime is increasing which includes gang crime. In Perth we have increasing Indigenous crime when family, so cousins come to the city from the country and then start stealing from shops in groups, ram raiding at night to steal from businesses, stealing cars, breaking and entering homes to demand money, valuables and gang assaults at night in entertainment hot spots.
