How to deal with a whining and barking dog?
My next door neighbours have a large dog that goes 'troppo' when they are out!! It really is the most sorrowful whining interspersed with loud anguished barks! It is distressing - and disturbing - to listen to.
Yes, I've mentioned it to them but they have no idea what it sounds like because the dog stops as soon as they appear!
Would love to hear your suggestions on what to do about this.

You can report them to councils. They usually have an online form.

Perhaps take a recording of the dog using your mobile phone so that you can play it to them as proof?
