I LOVE BOTH!!!
I have two dogs and always been more of a dog lover - their faces are just so full of love and joy!
However I've had cats in the past and my partner now is more of a 'cat man'.
Dogs are more needy (Which I love) Cats are more independant (which also has it's benefits). But both are filled with love and joy <3

I have neither by choice. I find dogs smelly. I dislike both of their excreta. They can both be destructive, especially when bored.
I like cats a bit more but would not have either as a pet.
