Should skateboarding be an Olympic sport?

The freestyle skateboarding in the bowl was very exciting and entertaining much like the BMX freestyle competition. I do think it should be an Olympic sport because so many young people enjoy the activity, it is an accessible sport (unlike some others - fencing, dressage with high costs) and it takes a lot of skill to perform the tricks. I say keep it for engagement and recognition of younger people.

Definitely a younger person's sport. For the Olympics to stay relevant, they need to include sports like these to keep young people interested.
