I have always been against it as it interrupts a child's learning. The importance of schooling needs to be promoted, adhered to and prioritised over a cheaper holiday outside school holidays. When our daughter was in school the school would distribute communication asking parents not to take their children out of school for holiday during term. Teachers dislike it as it interrupts their teaching program and assessments and is very selfish of the parents.
