With all this AI technology. Are we feeling safe?
Anyone can make anything by using your photo and voice. Nothing feels real today's world. We have feeling that out devices are listening to us. What we think or talk, can see similar on Facebook. Please share your ideas.

I think we can stay safe by not oversharing personal information and by using strong digital habits. Protect yourself with MFA, tight app permissions, privacy settings, and by learning deepfake warning signs and how to identify scams.

Yes, bad actors are using AI and making the world feel less safe. Deepfakes, fake news, security breaches, government sponsored cyberattacks, data tracking, and targeted ads are more common and intrusive. Big tech companies offer tools anyone can use to clone a voice or face, which increases the risk of scams, identity misuse, and large-scale misinformation.

Your phone is not secretly recording full conversations. Apps collect large amounts of data such as location, browsing history, and behaviour patterns to build personalised predictions. What feels like eavesdropping is usually just extremely accurate AI driven profiling.

We are in a transition period as we adapt to ever evolving technology. Governments are constantly catching up with new developments and threats and pushing tech companies to build in protections such as deepfake detectors, watermarking, stronger privacy laws, and better security tools.

GK, this is a question you want to really kick around with a wine and a cheese board nearby…it has a lot of layers. So, I’ll try to keep my response tight/brief.

Do I feel safe with the power AI in the hands of wrong people? Yes; why? I gave up on social media decades ago. My footprint in that space today is practically non-existent. And in the larger scheme of things, out of a population of over 8 billion, I’m a nobody. I’d worry if I was a public figure… in that scenario I’d have an IT company on retainer constantly scanning the Net for references to me/my name. But me? No. LOL

‘Nothing feels real in today’s world’…Uhhhh, look, I think we’re going to need to be a little more vigilant with internet content. If the content is serious or important to you, consider the source and fact check.
‘Devices are listening…absolutely, it has to so it can reply when you ask for the weather forecast. LOL. But seriously, that’s just the tip of data collection. Your phone tracks where you go and how long you stay there, your bank knows you shopping habits, your car servicer knows how you drive your car, Microsoft/Google/Apple know what you’re surfing the web for…it’s all part of the experience. Nothing to lose sleep over.

Final comment, I’m sure someone is out there right now working out how to use AI to identify and stop the bad AI. 😊
