What makes your home a home?

A recent study released by IKEA revealed that homes don't always feel like home, and some people reported feeling more at home in their cars. Does your home feel like home? What makes it like that? And if you don't feel at home there, why not? Where do you feel most at home?

Ben31639802 says: Our rental feels like our own home. This is due to the way we treat the space, the fact it's our first rental together as a married couple and the length of time we've been there. But also it is because it's our base. By being closer to the city (melbourne) our journey times are less, we're free to socialise more and that makes coming home all the more nicer as a result.
