Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

Yes there are brands no longer available that I have bought in the local health food store.
As Far as Home Brand Verses Named Brands I think that we get used to a particular tastes and way of doing things...and home brands have their own particular uses, just as named brands,so just have to do things slightly different with the new home brands.
Most people have their favorite recipe is my point and a new product and an old recipe is hard to break so it a new recipe to solve the day.
For Me Money is a factor as if it is available for the home brand price why would I pay more so home brand wins in that respect.
