Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

I have eliminated
Coles from my grocery shopping. I can no longer find anything except their brand at my local shop ie Camden Park SA.
Woolworths at Glenelg, SA, still has a good selection of brand labels but have an overiding policy to sell only certain products. So far this has meant I have had to ask my local IGA to get in my 'Goodness -Barley and Oats'. They will attempt to get in what you request and if this product sells they will continue to supply it.
This has encouraged me to use my local IGA as much as I can but I am also aware that their prices are higher. I therfor shop mainly between Woolworths and IGA.
