Home brand vs named brand

Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

The "no name" brands have been a plan of the 2 big supermarkets for years now.
Slowly introducing them, as the well known brands go away, slowly...

The big plan for those 2 big supermarkets being in another 5 years to have a total monopoly on just about all we need to buy.

So they can forever increase the massive mark up, and we..the silent people of Australia, can either pay 400% too much, or...go without

The Govt MUST get fair dinkum and stop this before Australia has no farmers left.... And most of our farming land gets sold to China...

But..our Govt. are too busy at the moment...bickering amongst each other and being paid to waste time....
...before they resign, get sacked or retire, on a hefty pay out...
