SanyiZ says: Singapore for a cultural education on how the natives live! I've been there before but always seem to forget to see or do something! Go for a month and stay in the city in a 5 star hotel and use public transport to see all the sights. Use a taxi to see all the markets and spend time doing some food sampling in different regions or even a little retail therapy.
They don't have pensions or medicare there, so everyone regardless of age or gender has to work.
Last time we met a 78 year old who was cleaning tables in a restaurant and living with 6 others in a shanty town.
I know it's humid there, but that's why you want a 5 star hotel to go back to when you need a rest and to replenish your energy levels.
