It seems to me that more and more, I am hearing of young people in the prime of their lives, being struck down by dreadful illnesses. Why! Is it something in the air, in the water, in the food we consume. To hear of the eldery becoming ill is dreadfully sad, but young people with their lives ahead of them who do every thing right, excercise, eat well, take care of themselves! I don't understand it. We live in a country that is so privileged in so many ways, certainly by comparison to the poor people who have to endure the hardships of "third world countries". These people I feel definitely got a very raw deal in life. But we live in a westernized country where young people should have long, fruiful lives ahead of them. Life is so unfair at times, I find it so difficult to make sense of it all!

Its scary to see how many illnesses and aliments people can be prone to - I watch news and documentaries and wonder how I would survive a day in their shoes.

But I also I think it may be a sign of the times - no natural selection weeding the weak from the strong. Not that I wish anyone ill will and I want to keep all my loved ones alive as long as possible as long as they have quality of live but we seem to developing all these medical treatments and medications to keep people alive when in the past they would have not.

Perhaps our changes in lifestyle, activities and the like - just have a look at all the foods pregnant women are told not to eat. My parents ate what they like and yet I was born healthy. The amount of time we spend indoors in front of televisions and computers and the abundance of food we have access to. I've never gone hungry a day in my life.

Every moment everyone can ask the same question.Maybe it is because we are all trying to hard to make life easyer for our youth. Most of us grew up very difficult. My family grew up with a single mother whom had to work to try and survive. We had to try and live without food, proper clothing and some run down house. If we could start to make people realize what there actions are doing.Do not try and harm anyone.Make people use there mind. One of the reasons humans dominate is that we should have a brain.I was in a coma for over 10 months, with brain damage. And to see what some do is wrong.
