If she had just grown her hair out from when you wrote this post to now she wouldn't have to worry about extensions.

I was at that age where all I wanted was long hair again. Now I'm 19 and couldn't really care but I do like to have a extensions for special events. I would also suggest going to eBay. There are some great extensions 100% human hair. I bough some on there a while back $80 for 210grams I think it was.

Well,I purchased clip in hair extentions of an interbnet site..(I will have to refer to my inbox to get the name foryou) at a NZ $130.00 They are human hair, very good condition and beautiful. They are from lightin thebox. www.lightinthebox.com
Goodlck finding your daughter the extentions she wants. Clip in extentions tend to be cheaper than going to a salon and are removed easily and cheaper than a hair cut. Most extentions can be darkend, but not lightened or bleached.

I personally think the clip in ones are a lot better since it enables you to choose when you want long hair and when you would rather not. There are plenty of times when long hair is inconvenient! The clip in ones also look very natural and if you buy them with real hair you can also colour/lighten them if you change your hair colour. you can also buy fake ones which are even cheaper than real hair ones, look just as good, and do the same job. The only issue is that they cant be curled, straightened, coloured, etc since they are not real hair. Another advantage to the clip ins is that they dont ruin your hair (unlike permanant hair extensions).
I got mine from Georgie's Wig & Hair Design in Palmerston North and they are fantastic! Maybe they have a website I don't know. Also I have some fake ones too which are Jessica Simpson hair extensions. Also very good!

it really depends on what your looking for, clip in extensions or ones that a salon puts in your hair...if you want clip in ones, you can get them relatively cheap online (there are heaps of online beuty stores that sell them) and even on places like ebay, for the ones that stay in her hair, youll need to go to a salon. either way though they can end up being expensive depending on how many she wants, so it might be a good birthday/christmas present instead of spoiling her on a normal day
