RJ Have you noticed that the Politicians rarely if ever listen to the people who elected them , in particuler I refer to our so called independants who I am sureare not followin the wishes of those who elected them.

The problem in Australia in relation to politics is the lack of ambition of the populace. She will be right mate attitudem most people are happy to run with this. If as a cummulative society we pushed the government to hold regular reffurendums on different matters, eg CARBON TAX. We would make a difference and be able to effectively change the outcome for our country. After all we put them into power to speak for us and make decision for our country, we can take that power away. We need to change our views toward what our country needs for the long term, not just here and now.

unfortunately the country is messed up in so many different ways, so that any good that is done, is severly swallowed up by the next dilemma etc, etc. what can you do when our country is being run by a whole group of preschoolers
