Cancer Reasearch institute. The reason behind supporting cancer research is because I have lost my daughter at the age of 14 years due to brain cancer. She suffered so much could not be able to bear the situation and my little lovely daughter is not with us. Also, I have few of my family died due to cancer. Really pity and sad all due to cancer among people and now it has become very common in spite of excellent medical treatment. Thank you.

I support various places - RFDS, Breast Cancer and Stroke Foundation
Living in a rural community the RFDS is vital as we have a base here and if there is an emergency at our hospital people are flown by RFDS to a city hospital. It is too far to drive so their service is fantastic in what they do. I've just done the walk last month for them.

I give to a few different charities , there just seems to be so many sometimes it is hard to choose, but one I donate a lot to is called WIRES. it is an organisation that saves wildlife when there is bushfires and floods etc, it is run by volunteers and does not receive any government support at all. We all seem to focus on people mostly sometimes the animals are forgotten.

I give to relief funds, so mainly Australian Red Cross and Lord Mayor funds. My motivation is to help those that have been badly affected by a disaster to get back on their feet and feel cared for.

Anywhere I can physically go and contribute because I must share. Sharing is only right. So usually Salvos, Red Cross and tc

RSPCA Op shops. They're more reasonably priced than some of the others. Have some great second hand stuff in their stores including pet items. Bowls, leashes and bedding.

I don't have a favorite charity, Antoinetta; when I was employed, I did donate monthly to the Cancer Council, but since retiring, I only give sporadically to any charity that asks or touches me emotionally in some way...so the causes can be incredibly varied. They all have great causes, whether it providing guide dogs for the blind, cancer research, protecting wildlife from man's inhumanity, providing medicines/doctors in undeveloped countries, preventing starvation, the list goes on and if I had a money printing machine, they'd all get my support.
BUT I sincerely believe donated monies are wasted on administrative costs among charities that embrace similar causes.
