Please tell me why some people (including my hubby) squeeze the toothpaste tube in the middle. Shouldn't it be squeezed from the bottom end????

From the bottom seems to be the most logical and practical option (my approach), but the middle seems to be the most convenient/lazy approach. Personally, I've gotten over the issue and realise we're all different.

Shock, horror! How can this happen?

In today's world, I was under the impression that everyone had to conform to the status quo. You're not allowed to disagree.

Wait until this gets out onto social media. You'll be hounded out of town and forced to change your mind!

They squeeze it from the middle because it's easier.
Yes, it should be squeezed from the bottom, when the stuff in the middle is gone.

to my mind, toothpaste should be squeezed from the bottom, but a lot of peole just pick it up in the hand and squeeze.

It ised to be that way when the tubes were made of different material but now they ate plastic it doesnt seem to matter. I remember that you used to 'roll' the tube from the end to get every last bit out and force the toothpast out better.

Whaaaaat? Only two responses to this critically-important First World issue?! Ah, OK, I guess that it's more important than "Which end of a banana should one start peeling from?"; or "Should one shake the cockroaches out of the toaster before inserting bread?"
I can certainly see why one's spouse might be furious about these important domestic issues... which no doubt have divorce lawyers rubbing their palms with glee! The correct answer is, of course, found in these helpful lyrics: http://www.songlyrics.com/peter-combe/wash-your-face-in-orange-juice-lyrics/

Squeezing from the middle is the most practical way to do it. It is more time consuming to do it from the end.

maybe it is the most practical for a lot of people, but only until the tube is around half used, then it becomes difficult and wasteful.
