So Cardinal George Pell has been found guilty of the child molestation charges! What now for the Catholic Church? How do they recover from this fresh onslaught and does this convicted pedophile still hold the right to call himself 'Cardinal'? In my opinion he and those like him should be excommunicated!

Yes I agree. He and all those like him need to excommunicated. It wouldn’t surprise me if more comes to light.

First off, as an atheist, anything that undermines organised religion is fine with me. That said, as long as he had a fair trial, I have no problem. If his appeal is denied, he should be defrocked ( or whatever the term is)
Second: TAX THE CHURCHES!

It's time that THE most corrupt organisation on earth be brought to its' knees! Ban it and put them ALL in jail!
Sell off their riches and solve world poverty.

I was raised a Catholic...but I couldn't agree more with your last statement......that would be one way to ease world poverty! It was also one of the major reasons why I turned away from the church. I could never understand why they would practice one thing but preach another. They must have millions in paintings, art etc over there
