My girlfriend has recently married..

She has mortgage on her own, Now, the married couple lives in her home, And she still the only one pay for home mortgage. He is high incomer, she is not.

Her mother in law lives in her husband's home ( zero mortgage).

Is this fair living arrangement for my girlfriend. The husband don't pay anything towards their ' current home'.

If someone is stay in unhappy marriage? cant see future.. what can she do?!

I would like to help her to find happiness !

God bless!

The concept of prenuptial contract is not that prevalent but in this case I think it should have helped your girlfriend get a fair deal after the marriage. The mortgage payments made by the partner that too under the lower end of the income scale is unfair and at-least should be divided equally. That will indicate that the partner cares for your girlfriend as he cares for his own family. I think she can still have consultation with family lawyer to get some legal arrangements done to get fair share. All the best.
