I have been following the obeid/mcdonald enquiry into their dealings in regards to mining lease. This enquiry must have cost us the taxpayers of NSW millions of dollars. I hope it is not money wasted. It better not end up a slap on the wrist for them. They should lose the lease, pay back all profits they have made on the mine and forfeit any right to operate a company in Australia for ever. Even go so far as to spend time in prison.

They should be covered, if found guilty, by the proceeds of crime legislation and if not then the system would require a review.

I certainly hope so - but i won't hold my breath.
