Hi Everyone,I was just wondering in these tough times, who among you goes to a Bingo Session somewhere?I have been pretty lucky as I won $250 a couple of months ago....excellent help, paid my lekky bill.I find it still great and reasonable prices entertainment, and with the chance of winning some money. It's not just for the stereotype older lady, there are teenagers go, amongst all age groups.I love it Sunday is my Bingo day, and I go with a friend of mine.It was around a lot when I was younger, was just interested if anyone still goes, as its a great social occasion for people. Thanks for taking the time to read this.Cheers,Lise

I have been going to Bingo now for 41 years, am 72 nearly, love it, always trying to win Big Bucks, has not happened yet. Joined a nice local Bowling Club play Bingo on Friday nights, jackpot this week has reached $7200 would not mind sharing, am not greedy. Most that I have ever won was $1000 in 1988 and went on a cruise to Fiji, hubby did not want to come neither did my mother-in-law so I went for 13 nights on a Russian ship Alexandra Pushkin, had a ball, also played bingo on board cost me $640 return, bus to Sydney from Melb. and ship from Sydney, a nice experience, the crew spoke to me in Russian and I spoke to them in English, can understand 6 languages but cannot talk back in Russian very well, can understand them but seem to think in English and that's how it is. A few weeks ago in Croydon Melbourne a lady won $100,000 at bingo, tickets were $300, I certainly could not afford that amount and certainly would have fallen off my chair in shock and died on the spot...ha ha. Bingo is entertaining, like Lotto, we are all dreamers, hoping to win and pay off a bill or buy something, it's human nature. Tickets locally cost $3 a book so for 3 books in each an outlay for $18 plus drinks, food and raffle tickets extra, we can have a reasonably cheap night out. Cheers.

I totally agree $ 18 is pretty good night out, and with the chance of winning.
OMG that lady in Melbourne, wow! I'll be telling my friend who I go to bingo with about that, I'm with you though,...

Thank you Lise. On my pension I certainly cannot afford $300 for tickets. So every Friday go to the local Bowling Club have a good night, win or not, chat as always, probably will still keep talking 6' under...lol. As for my cruise loved it, cannot swim, they tried to teach me at Primary School, at High School....a failure...I tried...but I do have a Semi licence 22 wheeler, though cannot get into a truck anymore..ha ha...a forklift could lift me up....I reckon when my time is up...it is up. Anyway won't rant for too long, thank you for your reply, and you also have a good week as well, and good luck in Bingo. Cheers.

wow your cruise sounds wonderful, that's something I'm not sure I would do, its a bit like swimming at the beach once I saw Jaws!...Seen the Titanic, Poseidon, shall I go on LOL.
I didn't win on the weekend, but we have a main jackpot which is up to $2,000...so like you I'd be more than happy to share that...fingers posted...
