Hiya Everyone

Just curious as to what my fellow sport lovers think about the whole David Warner incident? Well lets be honest, in general they are past poor, and have no chance in England with Jimmy Anderson swinging the ball both ways, I predict a whitewash

It will be a long time if we ever see a team similar to when Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrest etc., when watching an Australian game of cricket was boring cause they were just beating everyone.

Anyway, just sitting here watching the Sri Lanka V India game, to see who wins to play England in the Final on Sunday.

Have a great weekend everyone
an if you're in Adelaide........Stay Calm & Keep Warm
Lise :)

If you look at David Warner at about this time last year he was making runs but struggling to keep it consistent now you look at him after the 2013/2014 Ashes Series and the recent tour in South Africa he has made multiple 50's and 100's along side the likes of Watson, Clarke, Smith and Rogers. Yeah David Warner has been in trouble with the media and what not but he is the perfect opening batsman for the Australian Test Squad. He has apologized and moved on from the situation and he focuses 110% on his Cricketing Career.

Think England have the edge no doubt. We always have hope, and David Warner can prove his critics wrong and have some decent innings. Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oy Oy Oy. I'll be over there for the Ashes, not to attend, visiting rellies, so will cop a heap if we do lose.

Well the 5-0 to us has gone, but maybe 5-0 to the poms? Not done and dusted yet, Michael
Clarke is finally getting going, maybe we can save the Ashes with winning this 3rd test? Hoping!

Yeah I have to agree...... Michael Clarke, I am a fan of his, he cops a bad rap, but
Here we go Warner, referring another decision...wasted.....They slagg off Broad for not walking, and there is David Warner, defo Hot spot...so he knows he's hit it....clown!
Oh and Broad's the cheat bwahahaha

I was referring to the poms 5-0 :

Thanks Lise.....hope the weather is good, been a terrible summer there so far this year. And we wouldn't want it to upset the cricket now would we?

That's true..they should play cricket in summer in England!! Sarcastically said....
The tour match in Glouster was rain out yesterday! I do think Watson & Rogers is a good opening combination, I see Matthew Wade still keeps running partners out. So finger's crossed it improves, as it was not the best weather over there for the ICC Trophy.

Plus their county season has been interrupted almost daily, nitemare!

No, the weather, the wickets and Australian resolve will ensure no whitewash.

Hopefully David Warner will have learnt his lesson as Australia needs everyone on board to beat England. Whilst a humiliating 5-0 defeat will not happen it is difficult to see Australia winning the series. However, the recent appointment of Darryl Lehman as coach is a major boost , but probably the results of his appointment will not be seen until the return fixtures in November.

Your prediction went the opposite way you have had liked. Australia HAMMERED England 5-0 in the test series 6-1 in the ODI's and 2-1 in the Twenty/20's in the 2013/14 Ashes Series here in Australia! Now Australia are ranked 2 in the Test Rankings thanks to all three aspects, fielding, batting and bowling.

So you don't think it will be a 5-0 white-wash?
I do agree Darren Lehman will be good for them, its ironic, he could never get into the Australian Cricket team, as he was a little like the Late David Hookes, a little outspoken, and they didn't think they could play on any other wickets than the great Adelaide Oval...
I think its a well overdue appointment...Go Boof!!!!
