I have my own salon from home, which I offer Eyelash extensions, waxing, manicures and pedicures.
I get heaps of people, and clients asking if i do a gel/polish, or falsies.

I dont like acrylics, they wreck my nails and 80% of others.

I however have come to think about offering acrylics aswell!
given the never ending demand for false nails, and I can not afford to do BioSculpture as of yet nor bring in a gel polish,
what do people think i should do?
Acrylics, yay or nay?

I had a teacher who got porcelain nails done all the time and one day she didn't have them done and her nail beds were read and look itchy and painful and she had barely any real nail left on each finger. Say no to fake nails!

Perhaps meet ppl in the middle & offer gel, so when they are short a good manicure & some gel coating will give you repeat business & they can watch their nails grow as the gel keeps them strong!

Hiya Greta,

Nay..stop biting your nails! coming from a chronic nail biter in the past, I am amazed they grow and look as good as they do. so they break now & then, they will grow back....
Acrylics always look fake and dirty

Only my opinion of course.
Cheers,
Lise

Nay..encourage your clients to have regular manis with you..recomnend or even sell through your salon products for helping nail growth.. acrylics are so damaging to nails... they can look cheap and tacky .. hope this helps. .
