Got to agree that the pollies in this government aren't doing a good job and seem to be happy to get their big fat pay packets. The way they behave in Parliment is disgraceful from the PM down. Julie tries to portray herself as a 'lovely well mannered well behaved lady" in public, but really the true Julia is only seen when she is at full speed at question time. She is only really comfortable when she is with children in her tv appearances and I think it is because she doesn't feel threatened by them. In the House she falls right back into her 'attack' mode. It will all be "on" again when parliment is back and honestly I think our taxpayer dollars are being wasted every day parliment sits.

yes, unfortunitly I agree, not just the government but the opposition, they recieved the same payrises, never the less, if they were childrenI am afraid I would send them to their rooms, until they behave, being "Adults" iit is wirse, send them somewhere to grow up!!!!!!!! AND THEY RUN AND OR WANT TO RUN OUR COUNTRY, (shudder) I am sorry, but none of them is worth it(either party)

They are well paid there is no doubt (on a dollar per hour basis). The question is are they worth it, no they are not.

At present we are seeing this country being ran by a bunch of union hacks and a cabinet that just can't seem to get it right. There is no intregrity, honesty or credibility which has been driven by the panic of indicision. I would find it difficult to employ MP's from this administration to lick postage stamps.

Imagine if they were paid less. The calibre of our politicians would be even worse
