18 years ago when I was really young, I started knitting a jumper. It got too hard for me so I put it in a cupboard. This year, thoroughly sick of seeing it there, I pulled it out and finished it. Wow did that feel good! Surprisinbgly it fits perfectly, and I'm on the scrounge to find more unfinished projects to finish. What's the longest time between starting and finishing a project for you guys? Can anyone top 18 years?

I can't beat 18 years yet but I've been working on a blanket for at least the last 10 years and its not even close to finished. Its been going so long that they stopped making the colour I started it with and I had to do all the newer squares in different colour. I only do a few squares when I have no other projects on the go interesting me. I don't even know how big I am planning to do it.

Growing up and being a sensible adult. I've been trying for nearly 50 years and not made it yet! Elle
