Who just loves Christmas?. I miss the snow and ice, but i also love the sun. We still have the traditional xmas fare, irrespective of what the weather is doing. Now we have grand- children xmas as taken on a whole new meaning for the wife and i. We always have all the family round for the day, and i do the cooking. Last year we had 23 grown-ups and kids. Hectic, but well worth it.
My first post on here, so i hope to meet alot of nice people.

Yes the family get togethers are nice. Sometimes the planning of the day can be dramas but on the day you remember why you do it. I always feel strange afterwards though. A mass of family and then suddenly you go home to an empty house and the day was over so quickly. By the way welcome - I'm new too :) Oh and I am in Australia so I have never had a white Christmas here but I worked in Japan one year and that was a lovely white Christmas but it was a very sad Christmas because I was so far from home - it really drummed in for me that the most important part of Christmas isn't where but with who :)
