I suffer from Lymphedema
Lymphatic obstruction, is a condition of localized fluid retention and tissue swelling caused by a compromised lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system returns the interstitial fluid to the thoracic duct and then to the bloodstream, where it is recirculated back to the tissues.
My legs swell up huge then when they go down im left with a lot of flappy/wobbly skin, I try walking as much as I can but then it swells again..Has any-one here had or have this problem and can give advice on it I would be very grateful..having massages helps but I cannot afford having the massages and the 2 hospitals that I on the waiting lists for, have now closed that department..

Hi Sue
I've suffered since my masectomy in 2006 with this have you not been given simple self massage instructions on this, keep the blood flowing in the direction of the heart massaging in a upwards direction. It won't cure it but will relieve some of the symptoms.
all the best
