I have my Year 10 Formal coming up, and I was wondering whether anyone knows of any nice dress shops in Melbourne that have dresses for larger women (size 16-20)?

Thanks Ol!

I actually had my Year 10 formal in 2011 and I ended buying custom made online! But City Chic is fantastic - thanks for the suggestion!

I don't know if this is going to help but for my year 10 shormal (because it's with Shore boys I think) I've dreamed of going around to all the boutiques and finding that one dress. This way it's special and you know no one will have the same dress as you. In Melbourne, you have all the best shops! Good Luck from Sideneeee :D

Thankyou for the suggestion Yam! I made this post over 2 years ago (as I'm now in my first year at university) and I ended up buying my dress custom made online and it fitted perfectly, I also did the same for my year 12 formal too!

Thanks!

You should try the website asos.com.au
I know you posted this a while ago, and I do hope your formal went well, but this site is awesome for all types of clothing. I do think they're largest size is 18 but it's still great!

Even if you can't find one, you might be able to get someone to make one for you. That way you'd be able to design it yourself and it would fit you perfectly!
