Tatto is good or bad, it depends to the view of people. For someone it is art.. for others its not good.. For me I don't like tattoo, i am woman, even if I am man, I wont't have tattoo, when you grow old its not good on your skin.. Ugly to the skin

i think that if you feel you should have a tattoo, you should get one, it could be a link to your ancestry/tribal group, coming to you through your subconscious?

Tattoo's are a very personal thing, spiritual, cultural, a way of rememberence, or a reminder not to do that again.LOL. But even as much as we have our own opinions telling someone that they shouldn't have one cause God doesn't approve is boardering on abusive behaviour I should know I copped that when I got mine. My body is a temple yes and how I choose to honor God and decorate my temple is purely personal private and between God and I we have discussed each tattoo at length and I will never regret any of them.

I don't like tatoo's at all. And according to the scripts/bible God says, do not put tatoo's on you body. You must look after your own body in the right way. I know that some culture's prefer to put it on their body's. I as a person muself I do not agree with them, to ruin your body.

It's a personal choice. I don't really care about them. It needs to be a carefully considered decision though. Difficult, painful and/or costly to remove.

Tattoo's are definitely a personal thing. I have one but it is not on public display. Sometimes I wonder if young people think about what they will look like in 40 years.

Tattoos are a very personal thing for me. I have my daughters names surrounded by a rose and a butterfly which symbols my freedom from a bad relationship. I think it's a persons choice to have them and they shouldn't be judged because of them. It doesn't make us bad people because we have them.

Honstly i dont like tatto's becuase it hide the beauty of our bodies i believe people should just have temporary one because alot of people when they have tatto's they will decide to move them in the future so why not have a temporary one!!! Maybe a small one its okay.

I don't have one, but I reckon they look great when the image matches the personality of the person. I might even consider getting one someday

I don't have a problem with most tattoos, our rule with our children who are now 19 and 21 that they must be able to be covered if needed.
My son has his daughters name and date of birth across his heart which we allowed just before his 18th Birthday as there was no regret in having this tattoo.
My daughter had a butterfly designed by my son put onto her shoulder blade and she has just had AMORE' tattooed across the back of her neck. She works as a professional in HR and nobody even knows that she has them unless she tells them.

Fair enough Mustang - I didn't get my first tat til 30, and I have that same rule - I wear them with pride but can cover them for business/work. Many people that know me have no idea I have tatts,...

Unfortunately, while the old "tattoos = criminals" rule of thumb no longer applies to everyone with tatts, I reckon it still applies to the criminal classes. In general I don't like tattoos except in a pure traditional context. I see guys and some gals at the gym with tatts that are going to look truly dreadful when they're older. Maybe they're banking on a removal technology that really works...

I like to see a few tatts on people - don't like the full-sleeve/full-body covers, everything in moderation!!!

When I was growing up tattoos = criminals, very glad that has changed now.

The only difference between people who have tattoos and people who dont have tattoos is that people WITH tattoos don't care if you have tattoos or not. It's a personal choice so none of us should judge. I am 10, 000, 000 times more irritated and offended by the ever growing graffitti that we all have to look at!!

I like them but not all over the body, some nicely done artworks are covering peoples arms legs backs etc. I would like to get a small one maybe at the top of my arm or shoulder but i worry about who does it and do they have regulations they have to follow. I also dont know where to start looking.

People should be able to have tattoo's with out being judged. As long as it's tasteful, it's just art

I believe tattoos are private and shouldn't be on the face or hands.

I have two tattoos and one Moko Kauae on my chin it is a tattoo of a sense but is a traditional Maori tattoo with deep spiritual and person family history and status among our culture.

Some tattoo's are definitely private Sarah but some are also lovely to see. Depends on what it is.
