I shop at one of the big two Coles or Woolworths. Aldi doesn't have a bigger enough range for me but I believe many people save money by shopping there. My principle around shopping is to not buy highly processed and to only buy what I need and not more than I need. I check my pantry, fridge, freezer and use up items going out of date, planning meals around the items. I always write a list and shop in-store once on Monday and again for the weekend top-up on a Friday.
