Usually our taste in music changes as we grow older.. whether we are into the boy bands, girl bands, house, rap, techno, instrumental, r & b, reggae, hard rock, rock, pop, rap, metal, country etc.

So with that in mind, who are your 3 favourite artists of all time and who are the favourite artists at the moment?

For example, for me:-

All Time - Pink Floyd, AC/DC and Dire Straits.

Current - Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Coldplay

Tori Amos
Nightwish
Foo Fighters

and my 3 current faves that are subject to change at any time are:
deadmau5
Nightwish (i have gone on and off and on with nightwish due to the 3 different singers incident lol - they currently have Floor Jansen singing so I am back on board with them again. I didn't like their second singer.)

I love Kate Bush, Madonna, Charlie Parker, 70s disco music, Kylie, Candy Dulfer (sax player). movie soundtracks like Batman and Gladiator. Also, Gwen Stefani, and old 80s hits. I love Ravel and Beethoven, and heaps of rap, punk, Blondie. I love fiddling with the radio late at night and finding truly tragic country tunes, some of the lyrics are hilarious:)

growing up, my taste in music was influenced by my friends so i was listening to alot of hip hop, rap, alternative music etc.
Now, 15 years later and now that i am married with a family of my own, i find myself mainly listening to rock, mostly Australian Rock, heavy metal, alternative, reggae, blues, roots, country, etc. I even enjoy listening to a bit of easy listening music and am open to listening to anything at least once.
My all time faves: Slim Dusty, Kasey Chambers, P!NK.
My current favourites: The Poor, Grant Walmsley & the agents of peace and finally Stone Parade. (to name but a few)

KISS, Still going after nearly 40 years, different line ups, make up on, make up off, more changes to the line up and yet they still sell out stadiums, still bringing out kick ass new material (eventually) and still showing a lot of other "rock" bands how to put on a real show for the fans...
