I love music in general. ALL GENRES!! Anything with a beat that gets me dancing. Slow jams when I'm feeling down. Rock when I'm hyped. Metal when I'm looking for choreography moves. Opera when i just want to relax. Instrumentals when I'm feeling poetic. Country when I'm feeling inspirational. Pop when I'm feeling dramatic. Gospel when I'm feeling negative. I LOVE MUSIC.

I could quite happily time warp back to the 70's and 80's and immerse myself in classic techno, soft metal, but especially instrumental bands with great lyrics like Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Cream and Dire Straits. Oh and love Billy Joel and Eric Clapton.

My prefered genres of music depend entirely on my mood. Some days its hard rock. Other days, it can be 80s new wave or classical. The only genres I generally don't like listening to are country and rap, and even those have their exceptions.

Rock. Classic Rock, Soft Rock, Pop Rock, Pop, Singer-songwriter, boy band, Blues, roots, Indie and fusions of any of the above.Anything with an awesome melody and thoughtful, emotion-provoking and understandable lyrics
Absolutely loathe rap, beatboxing, hip hop, trance and anything related to those. I can handle a little metal (especially 80's hair metal), but death metal freaks me right out.
I think it's fairer for me to say I like individual artists regardless of genre, and there are a lot of artists even within genres I like that I loathe. If I like the melody and lyrics, I don't care what genre it comes from.

I like most kinds of music except that Head Thumping sound you hear at most night clubs now a days. You know that kind, its headache material that's all that is.
