I have a family of blackbirds that visit every day now since Melbourne had a 40degree day, the babies have grown now but visit n tap on caravan wall to say Breakfast time lol.
I use Coles Muesli softened with hot water I add coconut n nuts n scoop jam one month to keep feathers healthy.
They love it n fun to watch them eat. Have a table outside window with plant pot holder as dish.
Have a rat Problem so googled home remedy but alas they don't work ..
So I have blocked all holes around shed n fences. But it's a clever Rat n climbs in roof thanks to trees growing up. But slowly fixing it by cutting trees ha.. Haven't seen it for couple days lol soon as I see it I'm off the bed running out back with my Fork raised n ready n partner inside giving directions ..
Hope you enjoy my story .. All true.. Kiwis don't lie lol..,
