Why wont they play AFL Football on Good Friday

Hiya Everyone,

Happy Easter to you all.

Just wondering your thoughts on as to why the AFL seems to be the only sporting code who refuses to play AFL Football on Good Friday?

NRL play Good Friday
A League play Good Friday
SANFL play Good Friday

I'm hoping now that Andrew Demetriou gone after this year, the new incoming CEO will change it, and schedule AFL games on Good Friday Night.
