I get the feeling at times it's the "guilt" that makes parents spoil kids, I see it more with parents that have their kids in care than stay at home mums/dad's. I noticed some friends are more lenient with poor behaviour because they tell me "I get home at 7 & see my child fur an hour & a half before I put them to bed so I don't care if they jump on the couch etc" . I notice that bday & Xmas gifts are getting bigger & more expensive as often parents think their kids miss out if they don't keep up with others & society. Shane really
