Be aware of a new one called "SaveThe Deals" based in Singapore.
The line in is an offer of $35 of shopping/petrol or movie tickes for $1.00.

The catch is you have to sign up with them at a cost of $35/month...

I thought Groupon, Living Social, etc were bad enough, but this one tops them.

Which of this type of site have you had bad experiences with?

Some of these types of sites spam emails to me and just want my details. But as long as you don't give them your credit card details or anyway to get money out of you... then they can't charge you hidden fees or any fees at all.

So, that $35/month once you have signed up, checked out the site... they can't actually charge you anything unless you were silly enough to tell them your credit card or bank details.
