1.Recycle your household rubbish.
2. Compost.
3. Use natural products on your garden.
4. Take the green bags to the supermarket.
5. Take your own bag when going not supermarket shopping.
6. Only hose the outdoor bins out once a month not every week.
7. When you find out a storm or rain is coming in a day or two don't water the garden.
8. Turn off the bathroom tap when brushing your teeth.
9. Grow your own herbs, veg's and fruit if you are able.
10. Switch off electrical equipment at the power point when not in use.
11. Pick up rubbish regularly around the outside of your property.
12. Recycle spam mail (real estate cards and brochures)
13. Purchase organic food.
14. Read food labels and purchase Australian made if possible.
15. Purchase some green energy through your energy supplier.
16. Sweep instead of hosing paths and patios.

I think everyone can do there bit to reduce energy costs and landfill waste and reduce the cost to the consumer for food and make Australia a better place to live by supporting Australian manufacturers therefore supporting jobs.
