I'm 13 myself, and I think people like Nikki Minaj and Rhianna (on?) are really bad influences in our society because of what they represent, the sort of lyrics in thir music and how the make the world view women.

I agree totally with you willscarlet. I think Rhianna sets a terrible example to young women. By associating again with Chris Brown she is condoning his really bad behaviour of violence towards women. As you say the lyrics of the songs of both these singers are not the right sort for anybody to hear and their brief clothing is not something for young women to copy.

Today TV MUSIC VIDEO and GAMES are out of control, gambling ads on TV alcohol ads on TV everyone smokes in 90% of movies, 'why? because they cigarette companies, launder money to make the movies. Kida are impressionable thats why toys and fast food ads are prolific during the hours they watch TV. Self control does not work by these companies. Not a lot out there that is normal learning.

I feel that a lot of damage can be done in childrens lives with musicians of a certain kind(eg ZaZaGabor who has been banned from certain countries because of her influence in society, Singapore have identified this situation and along with other musical performers are not allowed into their country.
I also believe Sir Elton John was allowed into their country and a full page apology to their people in there local press for allowing him into their country, I GUESS THIS EXAMPLE being not necessary the music but the musician.

right on tv has a lot of control over the kids of today
aspecially the younger ones
just have a quiet look at what a standard 12 to 15 year old wears and then look at the tv station that relates to the music scene
it needs a lot of work aspecially if your a father of two or three teen girls
they need to wake up as a parent we would prefer it if kids were to wear there clothes on the proud side instead of lets show of all our privates
