We had a cat and a dog that both snored. Imagine a cold wintery day, the power has gone off so you decide to curl up in bed to keep warm. The dog is in its special spot with blankets on part of an old cot mattress one side of the bedroom snoring and the cat has deserted its usual bed and curled up the other side of the bedroom. Both are snoring loudly.

My dog snores a lot, but he is a Shih Tzu and they say short snouted dogs have a tendency to snore...so I can't be too bothered by it! Plus he is super cute so it makes it okay :)

Both of my dogs snore, one more than the other. I have a malamute and a Mastiff. The malamute always give you a funny guilty look if she wakes up with you there after she's been snoring haha. Its almost as if its really embarrassing for her. My cat Lyra purrs in her sleep also sometimes, its soo cute to see :)

At one point we had both a dog and cat that snored. In the cold weather when my elderly Mother had an afternoon nap, the cat would curl up between to the 2 free standing wardrobes and the dog would curl up on her make-shift bed on the other side of the room. Imagine the racket !! The dog also occasionally dreamt and "ran" in her sleep.

My dog snores so loudly sometimes he wakes himself up. He turn and looks at you as if you have done something to wake him up. When he sees you were too far away to have woken him up, he gives a strange look like only a boxer dog can, sighs and goes back to sleep.

My dog (boxer) snores louder than the passing street cleaner. Seriously, one day I heard him snoring while the street sweeper passed by our front door. And when I woke him up, he gave me a look like he new he was snoring. I filmed it one day and showed the family, priceless.

My little Chihuahua snores when she falls asleep in our arms, on her mat, on the bed, in her blanket cave and pretty much anytime she shuts her eyes and goes off to noddy land. Sounds like a teeny tine buzz saw. She has nightmares from time to time too. Makes us laugh every time. She's so gorgeous. Oh and she get hiccups on a rare occasion and scares herself silly. We won't mention the little pop offs. Where would we be without them.

hi Go-anna,thanks for replying and even though my cat snores she still sleeps right next to me and its true we can,t live without our pets

You're right although I'd have trouble having them all sleep next to my bed. I'm a rabbit breeder and also breed rats for pets and reptile food. Also into exotic guinea pigs, have dogs, cat, ferrets, all sorts of birds, fish, turtle, chooks, bantams .....mmmm what did I forget?
